ABOUT THIS DOCUMENT

This document was written by the studio to describe how it actually operates. It is provided for general information, it is not legal advice, and no attorney review is claimed. The summaries marked "In plain terms" are for convenience only; the full text of each section controls.

IN PLAIN TERMS

We collect what you send us to scope and run a project. Our payment provider handles card details, not us. We do not sell your personal information. Termly keeps optional tawk.to chat off until you allow it, and you can ask us what we hold about you at any time.

1 — Who we are

Multiverse Works LLC ("Multiverse Works," "we," "us," or "our") is a multidisciplinary creative studio located at 547 NE Eliason St, Poulsbo, WA 98370, USA. We operate the website multiversalpolymathcreative.com and provide branding, illustration, marketing graphics, and digital design services. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through our website and services, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

For privacy purposes, Multiverse Works LLC is the controller of the personal information described here. If you have a question about this policy, contact us using the details in the final section.

2 — Information we collect

Information you give us

When you submit a quote request, email us, or enter into an engagement, you provide details such as your name, email address, phone number, company or brand name, and a description of the project. If you send us files or materials for a project, we collect what you choose to share.

Payment information

When you pay online, your card details are collected and processed directly by our third-party payment provider under its own security and privacy terms. We do not receive or store your full card number. We keep only limited billing records, such as the invoice, the amount, the date, and a confirmation reference.

Information collected automatically

Cloudflare processes limited connection and operational information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as IP address, device and browser details, request timestamps, and requested pages. If you allow and activate tawk.to live chat, tawk.to may also process chat messages, contact details you submit, session activity, approximate location, and browser or device information. Our Cookie Policy explains the consent controls.

Do not submit card details, government identifiers, health information, or other highly sensitive information through the contact form or live chat.

3 — How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to inquiries and prepare written proposals.
  • Deliver the work you engage us for and manage the project.
  • Issue invoices and process payments through our payment provider.
  • Keep project, billing, and correspondence records.
  • Maintain the security and reliability of our website and services.
  • Meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
  • With your consent, provide the optional tawk.to live-chat feature.

We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it for third-party targeted advertising.

Legal bases (EEA, UK, and similar regions)

Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on: performance of a contract (to scope and deliver your project); our legitimate interests (to run and secure the studio, respond to inquiries, and keep records), balanced against your rights; your consent (for non-essential cookies and optional communications); and compliance with legal obligations (such as tax and accounting rules). You may withdraw consent at any time.

4 — Cookies and your choices

We use Termly to manage Essential, Performance and Functionality, Analytics and Customization, and Advertising categories. Essential technology delivers and secures the site. The optional categories stay off until you allow them; tawk.to live chat is the only optional third-party tool currently configured.

You can change or withdraw your choices at any time using "Cookie Settings" in the site footer. Our current Termly configuration uses opt-in consent in every published region profile. Our Cookie Policy lists each configured tool, its category, and its purpose.

5 — How we share information

We share personal information only in these limited ways:

  • Service providers who help us run the studio, including Cloudflare for hosting and security, Resend for website email delivery, Migadu for mailbox and forwarding service, and our payment and secure file-delivery providers when used. They process information to provide their services to us.
  • Termly for consent management, and tawk.to for live chat only after you allow the Performance and Functionality category and choose to use the widget.
  • Legal and safety reasons, where disclosure is required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
  • Business transfers, if the studio is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you of any change in how your information is handled.

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6 — Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track

We treat a supported Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as an opt-out request wherever applicable law gives that signal effect. We do not currently sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, and optional technologies remain opt-in.

Because there is no common standard for older "Do Not Track" browser signals, we do not make a separate Do Not Track promise. You can review or withdraw optional consent through "Cookie Settings" in the footer.

7 — Your privacy rights

Everyone

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to records we are required to keep by law. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time and within any period required by applicable law.

EEA, UK, and similar regions

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your information; to correct or erase it; to restrict or object to certain processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

California and other U.S. state residents

Subject to your state’s law, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it; to request access to or deletion of it; to correct inaccurate information; and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information for money. To opt out of sharing for targeted advertising, use "Your Privacy Choices" in the footer or send a GPC signal. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

To exercise any right, email hello@multiversalpolymathcreative.com or call +1 (360) 994-1062. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows.

8 — How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it. Project correspondence, proposals, and billing records are kept for the life of your engagement and afterward as needed to satisfy tax, accounting, and legal requirements. Quote requests that do not become engagements are kept only as long as they are reasonably useful for follow-up.

Consent records, which log the cookie choices made for a browser, are retained as an audit record for a limited period and then deleted or de-identified. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.

9 — How we protect information

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption of data in transit over the public internet. Card payments are handled by a payment provider that maintains PCI-DSS compliance. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit access to it. Our Trust & Security page describes our approach in more detail.

10 — International visitors

We operate from the United States. If you contact us or use our services from outside the United States, your information will be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data protection rules than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

11 — Children’s privacy

Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12 — Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide a more prominent notice. Your continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
